Medan, INVOCAVIT.COM – Dalam rangka menyambut Hari Bhayangkara ke-79, Polda Sumatera Utara melalui Direktorat Pengamanan Objek Vital (Ditpamobvit) bekerja sama dengan Dinas Pariwisata Kota Medan menggelar kegiatan bakti sosial berupa pemeriksaan kesehatan gratis bagi masyarakat, Minggu (15/6/2025).
Kegiatan yang dipusatkan di Lapangan Merdeka Medan ini bertepatan dengan pelaksanaan Car Free Day (CFD), sehingga menarik minat banyak warga untuk memanfaatkan layanan pemeriksaan tekanan darah dan gula darah secara cuma-cuma di stand Ditpamobvit Polda Sumut.
Direktur Pamobvit Polda Sumut, Kombes Pol Parhorian Lumbangaol, S.H., S.I.K., M.Han., mengatakan kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari rangkaian peringatan HUT Bhayangkara ke-79 yang jatuh pada 1 Juli 2025.
“Kegiatan bakti sosial ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan peran kepolisian dalam menjaga harkamtibmas serta meningkatkan kepercayaan publik terhadap institusi Polri. Ini juga menjadi wujud kepedulian kami terhadap kesehatan masyarakat sekaligus mempererat hubungan antara Polri dan rakyat,” ujar Kombes Pol Parhorian.
