MEDAN, INVOCAVIT.COM – Polda Sumatera Utara bersama Kodam I/Bukit Barisan melakukan pemusnahan 209 unit mesin perjudian, termasuk 192 mesin jackpot/dindong dan 17 mesin tembak ikan di Namorube Julu, Kecamatan Kutalimbaru, Kabupaten Deli Serdang.
Pemusnahan ini merupakan tindak lanjut dari penindakan gabungan terhadap lokasi perjudian di wilayah tersebut. Dalam operasi tersebut, dua tersangka berinisial DA (20) dan AKD (44), yang bertindak sebagai kasir, berhasil diamankan bersama barang bukti berupa mesin judi, koin jackpot, dan sejumlah uang tunai.

Kapolda Sumut, Irjen Pol. Whisnu Hermawan F, S.I.K., M.H., menjelaskan bahwa operasi ini merupakan bentuk nyata komitmennya dalam memberantas perjudian di wilayah Sumatera Utara. “Polisi tidak akan berhenti sampai Sumatera Utara benar-benar bersih dari aktivitas perjudian. Operasi ini adalah bagian dari upaya menciptakan rasa aman di tengah masyarakat,” tegasnya.
Dirreskrimum Polda Sumut, Kombes Pol. Sumaryono, S.I.K., M.H., menyebutkan bahwa pemusnahan barang bukti ini sejalan dengan program Astacita Presiden RI, Prabowo Subianto, yang menargetkan pemberantasan perjudian konvensional.

“Sejak Januari 2024, Polda Sumut telah menangani 531 kasus perjudian dengan 685 tersangka. Sementara itu, dalam 62 hari sejak dimulainya program Astacita pada 21 Oktober 2024, kami berhasil mengungkap 58 kasus dengan 101 tersangka,” kata Kombes Pol. Sumaryono.
Penindakan di Namorube Julu dilakukan setelah adanya laporan masyarakat mengenai aktivitas perjudian di lokasi tersebut. Tim gabungan dari Polda Sumut dan Kodam I/Bukit Barisan bergerak cepat dan melakukan penggerebekan pada Kamis sore hingga malam hari.
Dari hasil operasi, diamankan 17 unit mesin tembak ikan, 240 unit mesin jackpot/dindong, sekitar 1.000 koin jackpot, serta uang tunai. Sebanyak 48 mesin judi disimpan sebagai barang bukti dalam proses hukum, sementara sisanya dimusnahkan.
Kapolda Sumut juga menegaskan pentingnya integritas dan sinergitas dalam pemberantasan perjudian. “Keberhasilan ini tidak lepas dari kerja sama yang solid antara Polda Sumut, Kodam I/Bukit Barisan, dan masyarakat. Kami akan terus memperkuat kolaborasi ini untuk menciptakan wilayah yang bersih dari perjudian,” ungkapnya.
