Polda Sumut Salurkan Bantuan Kepada Masyarakat Terdampak Banjir di Marindal
DELISERDANG, INVOCAVIT.COM – Polda Sumut menyalurkan bantuan kepada masyarakat terdampak banjir di Desa Marindal, Kecamatan Patumbak, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, pada Rabu (27/11/2024) pukul 19.30 WIB.
Kegiatan ini dipimpin oleh Danton Ipda Rifai Siregar, S.H., dengan melibatkan 45 personel. Bantuan disalurkan di lokasi pengungsian, tempat warga terdampak banjir berkumpul setelah rumah mereka terendam air akibat hujan deras.
Kabid Humas Polda Sumut, Kombes Pol Hadi Wahyudi, menegaskan bahwa kegiatan ini merupakan bentuk kepedulian Polda Sumut terhadap masyarakat. “Kami hadir untuk memastikan warga terdampak mendapatkan bantuan dengan cepat dan aman. Koordinasi dengan pemerintah daerah terus dilakukan agar penanganan bencana berjalan optimal,” ujarnya.
Bantuan berupa makanan siap saji, air bersih, dan perlengkapan lain dibagikan langsung kepada para pengungsi. “Kami berupaya memastikan kebutuhan dasar masyarakat terpenuhi, terutama di masa-masa sulit ini,” kata Kombes pol Hadi.
Banjir di Desa Marindal disebabkan oleh hujan deras yang mengguyur selama beberapa hari terakhir, mengakibatkan sungai meluap dan memaksa warga mengungsi. Banyak korban kehilangan akses ke tempat tinggal dan kebutuhan pokok sehingga kehadiran aparat sangat membantu di tengah situasi krisis ini.
Sinergi antara aparat, pemerintah, dan masyarakat diharapkan dapat meringankan beban para korban. “Kami akan terus memantau situasi dan memberikan bantuan berkelanjutan hingga kondisi kembali normal,” tutup Kombes Pol Hadi.***
