Kedua penjual dan pembeli judi Chips Higgs Domino yang ditangkap itu berinisial TA (32) warga Jalan Tengku Umar, Kota Binjai dan TP (26) warga Jalan Swadaya, Desa Tandem Hilir, Kabupaten Deliserdang.
Kabid Humas Polda Sumut, Kombes Pol Hadi Wahyudi, mengatakan awalnya personel Subdit III Jatanras Dit Reskrimum mendapat laporan penjualan chip permainan Higgs Domino di kedai Kopi Nasution, Jalan Ikan Paus, Kecamatan Binjai Timur, Kota Binjai, Minggu 15 Oktober 2023.
Personel bergerak menindaklanjuti laporan itu dan menangkap seorang wanita yang juga kasir Kedai Kopi.
Dari penangkapan itu, lanjut Hadi, personel mendapati bukti penjualan Chips Higgs Domino jenis Scatters dari handphone milik Tia dan turut diamankan seorang pembeli saat berada di kedai kopi.
Dari tangan pelaku disita barang bukti handphone dan uang tunai Rp 3,2 juta.
