MEDAN,INVOCAVIT COM – Direktorat Reserse Narkoba (Ditresnarkoba) Polda Sumatera Utara bersama jajaran berhasil mengungkap 67 kasus tindak pidana narkotika selama periode 2 hingga 9 Desember 2024.
Kapolda Sumut, Irjen. Pol. Whisnu Hermawan F, S.I.K., M.H., melalui Kabid Humas Kombes Pol. Hadi Wahyudi, menjelaskan dalam sepekan, sebanyak 94 tersangka diamankan, terdiri dari 18 pengguna dan 76 pelaku yang merupakan jaringan pengedar. “Polda Sumut terus berkomitmen untuk memerangi narkoba karena narkoba adalah sumber kejahatan,” ucap Kombes Hadi, Senin (9/12/2024).
Dari penangkapan tersebut, Ditresnarkoba Polda Sumut menyita barang bukti berupa sabu seberat 767,24 gram, ganja sebanyak 5,46 kilogram, dan 24 butir ekstasi. Selain itu, polisi juga mengamankan barang bukti lainnya berupa uang tunai senilai Rp 3.722.000, 26 unit handphone atau tablet, 15 timbangan digital, 7 alat hisap bong serta barang bukti lainnya.
Kombes Hadi Wahyudi menegaskan bahwa barang bukti tersebut menunjukkan masih tingginya peredaran narkotika di wilayah Sumatera Utara.
“Narkoba adalah sumber dari berbagai kejahatan lain. Oleh karena itu, Polda Sumut bersama dengan jajarannya terus melakukan operasi pemberantasan narkotika dan memberikan efek jera kepada para pelaku, baik pengguna maupun pengedar hingga bandar” ujar Kombes Hadi.
Selain melakukan penegakan hukum, Polda Sumut juga mengimbau masyarakat untuk aktif berpartisipasi dalam pemberantasan narkoba dengan memberikan informasi yang akurat kepada aparat kepolisian. “polisi berharap masyarakat dapat menjadi mitra dalam memutus rantai peredaran narkoba. Peran aktif masyarakat sangat penting untuk menciptakan Sumatera Utara yang bersih dari narkotika,” tambah Kombes Hadi Wahyudi.
