Presiden RI ir Joko Widodo menekan tombol tanda peresmian jalan tol Trans- Sumatera yang difokuskan di pintu Tol Sinaksak, Kab Simalungun, Selasa (10/9/24).

 

SIMALUNGUN, INVOCAVIT.COM – Presiden Joko Widodo meresmikan infrastruktur jalan tol di Sumatera Utara,  yang menjadi bagian dari Jalan Tol Trans-Sumatera, Selasa (10/9).

Dalam sambutannya, Presiden mengatakan jalan tol yang diresmikan yakni Jalan Tol Binjai-Langsa Seksi 2 Stabat-Tanjung Pura, yang dibangun sejak 2020 sepanjang 26,2 km, dengan anggaran biaya Rp11,6 triliun.

Serta, Jalan Tol Kuala Tanjung-Tebing Tinggi-Parapat Seksi 3 dan 4 yang dibangun sejak 2018 sepanjang 45,6 km dan menghabiskan anggaran biaya Rp6 triliun.

“Jalan tol ini akan menjadi bagian dari Jalan Tol Trans-Sumatera sepanjang 2.994 km dan kita harapkan sampai akhir tahun jalan tol Sumatera sudah tembus di 1.100 km. Khusus untuk jalan tol ini tinggal 40 km lagi sampai ke Parapat, Danau Toba, tinggal sedikit sekali,” kata Presiden di Simalungun, Sumatera Utara, Selasa.

Dia mengatakan jika sebelumnya dari Medan ke tempat itu menghabiskan waktu tempuh selama 3,5-4 jam, saat ini hanya 1,5 jam saja.

Presiden meyakini keberadaan jalan tol akan mendorong tumbuhnya pusat ekonomi baru di koridor Binjai-Langsa dan Tebing Tinggi-Parapat serta menambah daya saing daerah dan sistem logistik, serta mobilitas orang, mobilitas barang akan semakin cepat.
