INVOCAVIT.COM, MEDAN- Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) telah memasuki usia ke-21 tahun sejak berdiri 2001, dan terus berkarya memajukan pendidikan di Provinsi Sumatera Utara terkhusus di Kota Medan.
Kabag Umum Faizah Bt Johan Alamsyah MSi mewakili Plt Kepala Lembaga Layanan Pendidikan Tinggi (LLDikti) Sumatera Utara, pada Wisuda Periode V Tahun 2022 di kampus Jalan Sampul Medan, Selasa (27/9/2022), berpesan agar mahasiswa kreatif dan inovatif dalam menghadapi dunia saat ini. Karena kemajuan ini sudah merubah pola manusia.
“Oleh karena itu, para alumni harus meningkatkan skill untuk bisa bersaing di dunia luar kampus atau pun dunia kerja. UNPRI kampus yang berkembang dimana pengembangan sarana prasarana meningkat terus, jadi harus menjaga kualitas terus dan UNPRI berkembang terus sampai pada saat ini karena sudah memiliki program Doktor (S3) sarjana (S1), magister (S2) dan dokter,” katamya.
Hadir pada wisuda, Founder UNPRI Prof. Dr. I Nyoman E.Lister MKes AIFM, Ketua BPH UNPRI Dr. Tommy Leonard, SH.,M.Kn, WR I UNPRI Abdi Dharma MKom, WR II Prof Dr Ermi Girsang MKes, WR III Said Rizal MA, WR IV Dr dr Ali Napiah Nasution MKT, Wakil Ketua Hukum dan Advokasi APTISI I Sumut Prof Dr Tarmizi SH MHum, dekan, dosen dan staf.
Sebelumnya, Rektor UNPRI Prof Dr Chrismis Novalinda Ginting M.Kes menjelaskan, seiring waktu, UNPRI tumbuh dan berkembang menjadi salah satu perguruan tinggi terbaik di Sumatera Utara. Pengembangan dan pembangunan terus dilakukan, baik dari aspek sumber daya manusia maupun pembangunan sarana prasarana.
Katanya, UNPRI juga telah melakukan langkah inovatif dengan melakukan reformasi di bidang teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Pengembangan sistem informasi berbasis Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) telah mengembangkan berbagai program aplikasi sebagai perwujudan adanya sistem informasi berbasis ICT dalam mendukung proses belajar mengajar dan tata kelola universitas yang terintegrasi.
Rektor juga menambahkan, pengembangan lainnya saat ini UNPRI telah memiliki Program Studi Doktor Hukum dan Program Studi Sarjana Arsitektur. “Sebuah kebanggaan atas kepercayaan yang diberikan kepada UNPRI atas dibukanya kedua prodi ini, untuk itu saya mengajak seluruh alumni yang ingin melanjutkan studi lanjut untuk bergabung kembali di UNPRI,” tambahnya.
Sementara itu, Ketua BPH UNPRI Dr. Tommy Leonard, SH.,M.Kn mengharapkan UNPRI berkomitmen penuh mendukung program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) Kemendikbudristek.
“Ini merupakan salah satu bentuk tanggung jawab UNPRI kepada bangsa dan negara Indonesia, khususnya dalam penyiapan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas dan memiliki daya saing di era industri 5.0,” ujarnya.
Wisuda periode V tahun 2022 yang ada beberapa sesi tersebut berasal dari Fakultas Kedokteran, Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi, Fakultas Keperawatan dan Kebidanan, Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat, Fakultas Ekonomi, Fakultas Hukum, Fakultas Psikologi, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Fakultas Teknologi dan Ilmu Komputer.
