Kabid Humas Polda Sumut, Kombes Pol Ferry Walintukan mengakui ada anggotanya yang ditangkap Polres Binjai karena menjual 1 kg sabu-sabu.
Dia menjelaskan, terungkap kasus peredaran jual beli narkoba setelah Polres Binjai menangkap tiga orang terduga pelaku narkoba berinisial JP, N dan AR.
“Berdasarkan hasil pemeriksaan terhadap ketiga pelaku itu ditemukan adanya keterlibatan personel Dit Narkoba Polda Sumut berinisial ES dengan barang bukti sabu seberat 1 kg,” katanya, Rabu (22/10).
Ferry mengungkapkan, Aiptu ES sudah ditahan di Propam Poldasu namun kasusnya ditangani Polres Binjai dan penyidik Bid Propam Polda Sumut tengah menyelidiki kasus peredaran narkoba yang dilakukan personel tersebut.
“Kita tengah mendalami untuk mengetahui dari mana barang bukti narkoba tersebut didapat personel ES,” ungkapnya.
Sementara itu Direktur Narkoba Polda Sumut, Kombes Pol Andi Arisandi, membantah bahwa narkoba seberat 1 kg yang disita dari personel ES itu merupakan hasil barang bukti penangkapan dan buka pula 2 kg.
“Kita sudah melakukan pengecekan terhadap data bawah barang bukti narkoba itu tersimpan di Direktorat Tahanan Polda Sumut dan barang bukti itu pun klop tidak ada selisih barang bukti,” ujarnya.
Pada kesempatan ini, Kabid Propam Polda Sumut, Kombes Pol Julihan, menambahkan bahwa personel berinisial ES itu disangkakan sebagai pengedar narkoba.
“Jabatannya Bintara tinggi. Saat ini terhadap yang bersangkutan telah ditahan di Propam Polda Sumut dan ditetapkan sebagai tersangka. Nantinya setelah proses pemeriksaan selesai akan dipecat dari institusi kepolisian,” pungkasnya.(jos)
