Medan, INVOCAVIT.COM: Kompol Dedi Kurniawan mengajukan banding setelah dijatuhi sanksi demosi selama tiga tahun dalam sidang kode etik yang dilakukan  Bid Propam Polda Sumatera Utara (Sumut), Rabu (29/10).

Pengajuan banding itu disampaikan Kasubbid Penmas Polda Sumut, AKBP Siti Rohani, yang diterima awak media, Rabu (29/10).

“Kompol DK mengajukan banding setelah mengikuti sidang etik yang digelar Bid Propam Polda Sumut atas perkara penangkapan Rahmadi,” katanya dalam sidang kode etik itu Kompol DK melakukan pelanggaran dalam menjalankan tugasnya.

“Dalam etika kelembagaan dilarang melakukan kekerasan atau perbuatan yang tidak patut terhadap orang lain. Kemudian etika kepribadian setiap anggota polri wajib menjalankan tugas secara profesional, proporsional dan prosedural,” terang Siti.

Sebelumnya, Kompol Dedi Kurniawan, membantah melakukan kriminalisasi saat melakukan penangkapan narkoba terhadap warga Tanjungbalai bernama Rahmadi beberapa waktu lalu.

“Penangkapan narkoba terhadap Rahmadi itu sesuai prosedur. Saat ini perkara narkoba itu pun sudah bergulir di Pengadilan Negeri Tanjungbalai,” tegasnya.

Ia mengungkapkan, terhadap Rahmadi sebelumnya telah ditetapkan sebagai tersangka atas perkara narkoba setelah dilakukannya gelar perkara. Lalu berkas perkaranya juga dinyatakan lengkap oleh pihak kejaksaan.

“Yang jelas penangkapan terhadap Rahmadi itu terbukti memiliki narkoba,” ungkapnya seraya menegaskan akan menempuh jalur hukum karena disebut-sebut telah melakukan kriminalisasi dalam penangkapan narkoba.***
