Medan, INVOCAVIT.COM: Anggota DPR RI Komisi XIII Kombes. Pol. (Purn). Dr. Maruli Siahaan,SH.,MH. menjamu puluhan masyarakat termasuk para penyandang disabilitas tuna netra dalam suasana Tahun Baru di rumah kediamannya Jl. Perjuangan, Kota Medan, Jumat (2/1/26)
Legislator dari Partai Golkar Dapil Sumut I itu terlihat akrap dengan suasana penuh kekeluargaan. Maruli dengan senyum khasnya menyapa para tamu sekaligus menyampaikan ucapan selamat Tahun Baru serta harapan agar tahun yang baru membawa keberkahan, kesehatan, dan semangat kebersamaan bagi seluruh masyarakat. Kehadiran para tuna netra menjadi perhatian khusus, sebagai wujud nyata komitmen beliau terhadap nilai inklusivitas dan kepedulian sosial.
Sebagai bentuk empati dan rasa kasih sayang, Kombes Pol. (Purn.) Dr. Maruli Siahaan turut menyerahkan tali kasih berupa bantuan uang kepada masyarakat dan para tuna netra yang hadir. Bantuan tersebut diharapkan dapat meringankan beban kebutuhan serta menjadi penyemangat dalam menyongsong tahun yang baru.
“Momentum Tahun Baru ini kita jadikan sebagai sarana untuk mempererat rasa kebersamaan, menumbuhkan kepedulian, serta saling menguatkan satu sama lain. Tidak boleh ada yang tertinggal, semua berhak merasakan kebahagiaan,” ujar Dr. Maruli Siahaan di sela-sela kegiatan.
Puluhan tamu dari kalangan masyarakat dan Penyandang Disabilitas merasa terharu dan bangga. Mereka menyampaikan terimakasih kepada Maruli Siahaan yang sangat peduli kepada warganya termasuk kepada para penyandang disabilitas.
Mereka memanjatkan doa kiranya Dr Maruli Siahaan selalu dalam lindungan Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, diberi kebijaksanaan menjalankan amanah sebagai wakil rakyat di DPR RI Komisi XIII. Turut juga mereka doakan Partai Golkar dan pimpinannya untuk selalu memberi perhatian kepada masyarakat.
