Mataram, INVOCAVIT.COM: Anggota Komisi XIII DPR RI Fraksi Partai Golkar, Kombes Pol (Purn) Dr. Maruli Siahaan, S.H., M.H., menegaskan bahwa pengawasan keimigrasian di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB) masih perlu diperkuat secara serius. Hal ini terutama menyangkut kawasan wisata strategis seperti Mandalika serta sejumlah jalur laut yang dinilai rawan dimanfaatkan sebagai celah terjadinya pelanggaran keimigrasian.
Hal itu disampaikan Dr Maruli Siahaan SH.MH saat melakukan kunjungan spesifik Komisi XIII ke Mataram, Propinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB), pada 10 November 2025.
Menurutnya, peningkatan mobilitas warga negara asing (WNA) dan keberadaan tenaga kerja asing (TKA) harus diimbangi dengan sistem pendataan yang akurat, mekanisme pengawasan yang ketat, serta kepastian hukum yang jelas terkait izin tinggal dan aktivitas kerja. Ia menekankan bahwa tidak boleh ada WNA maupun TKA yang melakukan kegiatan di wilayah Indonesia tanpa dasar hukum yang sah dan pengawasan dari otoritas terkait.
Lebih lanjut, Maruli Siahaan mendorong penguatan koordinasi lintas sektor antara Direktorat Jenderal Imigrasi, TNI Angkatan Laut, Kepolisian Negara Republik Indonesia, serta pemerintah daerah. Sinergi tersebut dinilai penting agar pengawasan keimigrasian dapat berjalan secara terpadu, efektif, dan berkelanjutan.
Selain aspek koordinasi, ia juga menyoroti kebutuhan mendesak akan dukungan sarana dan prasarana, penambahan sumber daya manusia, serta alokasi anggaran yang memadai. Langkah ini diperlukan agar fungsi pengawasan keimigrasian sekaligus pelayanan publik di NTB dapat terlaksana secara optimal.
Sebagai bagian dari fungsi pengawasan parlemen, Komisi XIII DPR RI berkomitmen untuk terus mengawal tata kelola keimigrasian yang berkeadilan, menjunjung tinggi prinsip hak asasi manusia, serta menjamin keamanan dan ketertiban.
