Invocavit.com, Jakarta – Anggota Komisi VIII DPR RI mengatakan Undang-undang No.8 tentang penyelenggaraan ibadah haji perlu direvisi.
Hal itu dikatakan Buchori Yusuf dalam forum Legislasi “Urgensi Revisi UU No.8 Tahun 2019 tentang penyelenggaraan ibadah haji dan umroh” bersama Sekjen AMPHURI Faried Aljawi, Selasa (14/2) di DPR RI Jakarta.
Menurutnya UU tersebut dinilai sudah tidak relevan dengan perkembangan jaman. Buchori mencontohkan dimana saat pemerintah Indonesia pada 2022 mendapat tambahan kuota 10 ribu tak bisa menggunakannya. Sebab, pemerintah Saudi saat ini menilai bahwa ibadah haji bukan hanya dari aspek ibadah saja akan tetapi masuk ke dalam aspek ekonomi.
Dalam UU No 8 penyelenggara ibadah haji bahwa dalam aturan haji tidak bisa dilakukan Bisnis ke Pemerintah atau B to G akan tetapi pemerintah ke pemerintah. Oleh karena itu, agar tidak menuai banyak pertanyaan diperlukannya sesegera mungkin merevisi agar lebih fleksibel dalam UU tersebut.
“Di UU no 8 ini mengamanatkan pemerintah diwakili Kemenag, jadi saya kira UU no 8 saat ini perlu dilakukan perubahan karena tidak fleksibel menyikapi pengembangan baru,” tutur Buchori Yusuf.
Sedangkan Faried Aljawi mengatakan UU ini belum mengatur tentang Proses Transformasi Digital yaitu tentang penyelenggaraan umroh dan haji, hal ini dibuktikan dengan kita tidak bisa tahan pemerintah arab saudi untuk menerapkan kebijakan haji dan umroh kepada seluruh negara Islam di dunia.
Oleh karena itu kita harus berkaca kepada negara-negara lain, dimana pemerintah arab saudi sudah membebaskan untuk bisa mereka mengakses langsung dalam rangka penyelenggaraan haji dan umroh.
