COM, JAKARTA – Gelaran wayang kulit dengan lakon Wahyu Cakraningrat yang dihelat Polri di lapangan Bhayangkara, Jakarta Selatan, Jumat malam, 7 Juli 2023 mendapat apresiasi dan sambutan positif dari masyarakat. Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari rangkaian Hari Ulang Tahun (HUT) ke-77 Bhayangkara.
Salah satunya diungkapkan Ibu Atin warga Jawa Tengah. Wanita ini menilai wayang kulit merupakan hiburan budaya yang bukan hanya sekedar tontonan tapi juga tuntunan.
Polri, kata dia sangat luar biasa karena dalam setahun bisa menghadirkan tontonan yang kini mulai tergerus dengan perkembangan jaman.

“Sangat bermanfaat sekali. Saya salut melihat Polri sekarang ini, karena betul-betul menyatu dengan masyarakat,” ujarnya.
Susanto penonton asal Jakarta mengungkapkan gelaran wayang kulit ini memberikan hiburan kepada masyarakat karena sangat jarang bisa ditemukan.
Menurut dia wayang kulit ini sangat bermanfaat dan menghibur warga. Harapannya ke depan, Polri semakin mengayomi dan melayani masyarakat serta terus memberantas premanisme. Jaya selalu Polri,” ujarnya.
Apresiasi juga datang dari Tukinem warga asal Depok. Dia mengaku sengaja datang jauh karena sangat senang dengan wayang kulit. Dia berharap Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo terus mengadakan kegiatan agar kesenian tradisional ini tidak punah.
“Di HUT ke- 77 saya bangga dengan Polri, tugasnya berat apalagi di tahun ini. Mudah-mudahan Pak Kapolri dan jajarannya selalu diberikan kesabaran dan selalu dekat dengan masyarakat serta berlaku adil jangan pilih kasih,” terangnya.
Selain masyarakat, gelaran wayang kulit ini juga disaksikan komunitas wayang mania. Menurut Farhan, salah satu perwakilannya mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Polri yang sudah melestarikan wayang kulit. Sebagai komunitas wayang kulit, dia merasa bangga dan berharap kepada Kapolri terus melestarikan kebudayaan ini.
“Sangat bermanfaat untuk kalangan menengah ke bawah dan semuanya. Alhamdulillah Pak Kapolri sangat merakyat dan mendukung pecinta wayang kulit,” kata Farhan.
Komunitas Ikatan Keluarga Gunung Kidul juga bersyukur bisa diundang Kapolri menyaksikan gelaran wayang kulit ini. Sutarno, salah seorang perwakilannya mengungkapkan kegiatan menunjukan bahwa Polri semakin dekat dengan masyarakat. “Saya kira ini sangat luar biasa sekali saya selalu datang sama keluarga,” tambahnya.
Ucapan syukur dan terima kasih datang dari Dalang Ki Bayu Aji. Dia mengaku suatu kehormatan bisa terlibat langsung di acara ini.
Dia mengaku sudah beberapa kali berpartisipasi diberbagai kegiatan. Ki Bayu Aji mengaku sangat bangga karena Polri semakin perhatian dengan budaya tradisional.
“Saya sangat kagum dan bangga dengan Polri. Ini menunjukkan mereka semakin dekat dengan masyarakat,” ucapnya.
Ki Bayu Aji menekankan bersatu dan dekat dengan masyarakat sangat dibutuhkan. Tugas Polri sebagai pengayom dan pelindung akan dirasakan langsung masyarakat. “Kalau masyarakat semakin dirangkul semakin jaya Polri,” tuturnya.
Gelaran wayang kulit ini turut menghadirkan pelaku UKMK. Mereka pun turut mengapresiasi dan berterima kasih kepada Polri karena dilibatkan dalam kegiatan ini.
