Samosir, INVOCAVIT.COM: Pemerintah Provinsi Sumatera Utara melalui Badan Pendapatan Daerah (Bapenda) resmi menggulirkan program pemutihan dan diskon Pajak Kendaraan Bermotor (PKB) mulai 1 Oktober 2025.
Kepala UPTD PPD Pangururan, Denni Rovi S. Meliala, S.Sos, MSP, mengatakan kebijakan ini berlaku di seluruh wilayah Sumut, termasuk Kabupaten Samosir melalui layanan UPTD Samsat Pangururan.
“Program ini memberikan keringanan besar bagi masyarakat. Selain diskon pokok PKB hingga 5 persen bagi yang taat bayar sebelum jatuh tempo, pembebasan Bea Balik Nama Kendaraan Bermotor (BBNKB) kedua, bebas pajak progresif, dan bebas denda administrasi, Pemprov Sumut juga menetapkan kebijakan penting: seluruh pokok tunggakan PKB sebelum tahun 2024 beserta dendanya diputihkan,” jelasnya.
Dia menyebutkan, masyarakat cukup hanya membayar PKB tahun 2024 dan 2025, maka seluruh pajak tertunda sebelum 2024 dibebaskan. Dengan cara ini, beban lama yang selama ini menumpuk tidak lagi menghantui para pemilik kendaraan.
Kepala UPTD PPD Pangururan, Denni Rovi S. Meliala, S.Sos, MSP, mengimbau masyarakat Samosir agar segera memanfaatkan momentum ini. “Ini kesempatan emas. Kami minta warga datang ke Samsat Pangururan untuk mengurus pajaknya. Jangan ditunda, karena semua tunggakan sebelum 2024 sudah diputihkan. Jadi masyarakat hanya perlu membayar pajak 2024 dan 2025 saja,” ujarnya.
Selain datang langsung ke kantor Samsat, warga juga dapat memanfaatkan layanan digital seperti aplikasi SIGNAL dan E-Samsat Sumut untuk membayar pajak dari rumah.
Program pemutihan ini diharapkan tidak hanya meringankan beban masyarakat, tetapi juga meningkatkan kesadaran dan kepatuhan pajak di Kabupaten Samosir.(rel)
