Kota Tebing Tinggi Dilanda Banjir, Ribuan Rumah Terendam Air

TEBINGTINGGI, INVOCAVIT.COM – Banjir yang melanda Kota Tebingtinggi sejak Rabu (9/10/2024) dini hari, telah meluas hingga ke 5 kecamatan. Banjir juga telah merendam 1.161 rumah yang tersebar di 15 kelurahan di Kota Tebingtinggi.
Berdasarkan update laporan sementara dari BPBD Kota Tebingtinggi, banjir akibat luapan sungai yang ada di Tebingtinggi telah merendam 199 rumah di 3 kelurahan yang ada di Kecamatan Rambutan. Untuk Kecamatan Tebingtinggi Kota sebanyak 445 rumah yang tersebar di 3 kelurahan.
Selanjutnya di Kecamatan Bajenis banjir melanda 5 kelurahan dengan jumlah 391 rumah terdampak banjir. Untuk Kecamatan Padang Hulu 3 kelurahan terdampak banjir dan merendam 109 rumah, dan Kecamatan Padang Hilir merendam 17 rumah di Kelurahan Tambangan Hulu. Ketinggian air rata-rata antara 40 hingga 60 cm dengan kondisi air yang masih bertahan.
Penjabat Wali Kota Tebingtinggi, Moettaqien Hasrimi bersama Kapolres, AKBP Simon Paulus Sinulingga, turun langsung memantau dan mendata warga yang terdampak banjir di Kelurahan Tualang dan Kelurahan Persiakan Kecamatan Padang Hulu Kota Tebingtinggi, Rabu (9/10/2024) sore.
Dalam kunjungannya, Pj Wali Kota bersama Kapolres, Kabag Ops dan Camat Padang Hulu membuka posko banjir, dan dapur umum bagi warga yang terdampak di Kelurahan Tualang dan Persiakan.
Dilaporkan tidak ada korban jiwa dalam musibah ini, namun upaya evakuasi terhadap warga yang terjebak banjir tetap dilakukan oleh personel BPBD dan Polres Tebingtinggi. Tim juga terus melakukan pengecekan debit air dan bersiaga di beberapa titik rawan banjir, termasuk di kantor Lurah Tualang.
Moettaqien Hasrimi mengungkapkan, hari ini kita sama saksikan luapan Sungai Padang, ini curah hujan yang kita tahu cukup luar biasa. Hari ini saya beserta seluruh jajaran Pemerintah Kota Tebingtinggi, saya sudah perintahkan ke dinas masing-masing untuk membuat dapur umum.
“Dan saya menghimbau masyarakat untuk segera berkumpul di posko, dan akan kita siapkan konsumsi dan posko kesehatan, mudahan-mudahan sore nanti banjir akan surut. Demikian terimakasih,” singkat Moettaqien Hasrimi.
Diketahui banjir di Kota Tebingtinggi akibat meluapnya sungai yang ada di Kota Tebingtinggi yakni, Sungai Padang, Sungai Bahilang, Sungai Sibaro, dan Sungai Sei Kelembah.(mp).
