SIBOLGA, INVOCAVIT. COM: Polres Sibolga mengungkap kasus pembunuhan tragis yang sempat menggemparkan warga Kota Sibolga, akhirnya berhasil diungkap. Hanya dalam waktu kurang dari tiga hari, Satuan Reserse Kriminal (Satreskrim) Polres Sibolga berhasil mengamankan lima orang pelaku yang diduga kuat terlibat dalam pembunuhan seorang pemuda di halaman Masjid Agung Sibolga, Senin (03/11/2025).
Peristiwa mengenaskan itu terjadi pada Jumat (31/10/2025) sekitar pukul 03.30 WIB. Korban yang diketahui merupakan seorang Nelayan (sebelumnya Mahasiswa), ditemukan tewas dengan sejumlah luka akibat penganiayaan. Rekaman kamera pengawas (CCTV) di sekitar lokasi menjadi petunjuk penting yang membantu aparat kepolisian dalam mengungkap kasus ini.
Dalam konferensi pers yang digelar di Mapolres Sibolga, pihak kepolisian memaparkan kronologi dan proses penangkapan para pelaku.
Dua tersangka pertama, masing-masing berinisial ZPA dan HBK, berhasil diamankan tak lama setelah peristiwa terjadi. Kemudian, tiga tersangka lainnya, yaitu SSJ, REC, dan CLI, juga berhasil ditangkap di wilayah Sibolga dan sekitarnya.
Selain menangkap para pelaku, polisi turut menyita sejumlah barang bukti antara lain, Satu unit flashdisk berisi rekaman CCTV Masjid Agung Sibolga, Satu buah kelapa yang digunakan pelaku, Pakaian korban dan lainnya.
Kapolres Sibolga AKBP Eddy Inganta, SH, SIK, MH melalui Kasat Reskrim Polres Sibolga AKP Rustam E. Silaban, SH, menjelaskan bahwa masing-masing tersangka memiliki peran berbeda dalam aksi keji tersebut.
Empat tersangka, yakni ZPA, HBK, REC dan CLI dijerat dengan Pasal 338 subsider Pasal 170 ayat (3) KUHP tentang pembunuhan atau kekerasan bersama yang mengakibatkan kematian, dengan ancaman hukuman maksimal 15 tahun penjara.
Sementara itu, tersangka SSJ dijerat dengan Pasal 365 ayat (3) subsider Pasal 338 subsider Pasal 170 ayat (3) KUHP tentang pencurian disertai kekerasan yang mengakibatkan kematian, dengan ancaman hukuman maksimal 15 tahun penjara, ujar Kasat Reskrim.
Polres Sibolga menegaskan komitmennya untuk menuntaskan kasus ini secara profesional dan transparan. Polisi juga terus mengumpulkan bukti tambahan guna memperkuat berkas penyidikan sebelum dilimpahkan ke kejaksaan.
