Komandan Lanal (Danlanal) TBA, Letkol Laut (P) Wido Dwi Nugraha SE,M.Tr,menyebutkan, kronologi penangkapan, sebelumnya, personel intel Lanal TBA mendapatkan laporan dari nelayan pukat tarik yang mencari ikan di perairan Tanjung bangsil dan melihat 1 unit sampan kaluk tanpa alat tangkap yang dicurigai dikarenakan terdapat 2 orang ( Laki laki dan Perempuan) membawa sampan tersebut.
Berdasarkan informasi tersebut tim F1QR Lanal TBA setelah mendapatkan briefing segera bergerak menuju perkiraan lokasi untuk menemukan sasaran dengan ciri ciri yang dimaksud.
“Sekira kurang lebih 2 jam melakukan penyisiran, tim F1QR Lanal TBA melihat adanya 1 unit sampan kaluk mencurigakan yang bergerak dipinggir area mendekati hutan bakau,” sebut Danlanal.
Danlanal juga mengatakan,Untuk memastikan sea rider F1QR melaju mendekati sasaran dan kemudian sasaran menambah kecepatan, sehingga terjadi kejar – kejaran selama kurang lebih 15 menit sehingga tim melepaskan tembakan ke udara.

Sampan kaluk dan 1 penumpang Perempuan Inisial NB (33) warga Madad Aceh Timur berhasil diamankan oleh dua Personel F1QR, sementara untuk 1 Personel lainya yang mengejar kehilangan jejak dikarenakan kondisi bakau susah dijangkau dan sea rider tidak dapat merapat.
Berdasarkan hasil tangkapan ditemukan adanya barang bukti 1 unit sampan kaluk, 1 orang pelaku pembawa diduga narkoba jenis Shabu sebanyak 4 bungkus dengan total berat 1.113 gram berikut barang bawaan lainya.
Selanjutnya seluruh hasil tangkapan dibawa menuju Pos Bagan Asahan Lanal TBA dan kemudian dibawa menuju Mako Lanal TBA untuk proses lanjut.
Sementara itu pelaku dan barang bukti narkoba dibawa ke Kantor BNNK Tanjung Balai untuk dilakukan pendalaman, serta pemeriksaan lebih lanjut, sedangkan untuk kapal kayu diamankan di Dermaga Posbinpotmar bagan Asahan.
