MEDAN, INVOCAVIT.COM – Polda Sumatera Utara mencatat penurunan tajam dalam pelanggaran yang melibatkan personelnya sepanjang tahun 2024 dibandingkan tahun sebelumnya. Data resmi menunjukkan perbaikan signifikan dalam disiplin dan etika anggota Polri, meski tantangan di era digital kian terasa dengan meningkatnya jumlah berita viral.
Berdasarkan laporan yang disampaikan Kabid Propam Polda Sumut, Kombes Pol Bambang Tertianto, pada Senin pagi (6/1/2024), pelanggaran disiplin anggota pada tahun 2024 turun menjadi 215 kasus, dibandingkan 304 kasus di tahun 2023.
Penurunan juga terjadi pada pelanggaran kode etik profesi Polri (KEPP), yang menyusut lebih dari setengahnya, dari 542 kasus pada 2023 menjadi 271 kasus pada 2024. Selain itu, angka pemberhentian tidak dengan hormat (PTDH) menunjukkan tren yang lebih baik, dengan 23 kasus pada 2024 dibandingkan 57 kasus di tahun sebelumnya.
Kabid Propam Polda Sumut, Kombes Pol Bambang Tertianto, menilai penurunan pelanggaran ini sebagai hasil dari penguatan pembinaan dan pengawasan internal yang konsisten.
“Penurunan signifikan pada pelanggaran disiplin dan kode etik merupakan bukti nyata bahwa program pembinaan, pengawasan dan pengendalian di Polda Sumut berjalan efektif. Kami terus berupaya memastikan anggota Polri bekerja dengan profesionalisme dan integritas tinggi,” ujar Kombes Pol Bambang.
Terkait peningkatan jumlah berita viral, ia menegaskan perlunya perhatian lebih terhadap perilaku anggota di lapangan. “Peningkatan kasus viral menunjukkan bahwa setiap tindakan anggota Polri kini berada di bawah sorotan publik. Kami akan terus memperkuat pengawasan sekaligus memberikan pembinaan agar anggota lebih berhati-hati dalam bersikap dan bertindak,” tambahnya.
