Ikut dalam rapat itu Plt Kadis Pariwisata Viza Fandhana dan Sekretaris Yuda P Setiawan serta segenap perwakilan perangkat daerah dan kecamatan di lingkungan Pemko Medan.
Dalam rapat itu, Sekretaris Dinas Pariwisata Yuda P Setiawan memaparkan, Colorful Medan Carnival Tahun 2023 akan dihelat selama dua hari, yakni 30 Juni sampai 1 Juli 2023 di Lapangan Benteng dan kawasan sekitarnya.
“Pada 30 Juni akan digelar Lomba Mewarnai dengan peserta 1.000 siswa SD, pameran ekonomi kreatif, juga hiburan band lokal. 1 Juli siang digelar pawai karnaval dan malam harinya panggung hiburan rakyat,” sebut Yuda.
Terkait Event Pesona Indonesia Expo 2023, lanjut Yuda, akan digelar mulai 2 sampai 9 Juli. Tempat penyelenggaraan perhelatan ini di Hotel Karibia dan Podomoro Delipark Medan. Mulai 2 sampai 4 Juli diisi dengan kegiatan pemilihan Miss Globa World Kids & Teen 2023. Selanjutnya mulai 5 sampai 9 Juli kegiatan digelar di Podomoro Deli Park.
“Berbagai materi acara akan menyemarakkan perhelatan ini, di antaranya talkshow, fashion show, fashion runway, dance competition, modeling competition dan music concert,” sebutnya.
Dia menambahkan, mulai pertengahan bulan ini juga Pemko mempromosikan potensi unggulan Kota Medan pada pelaksanaan Pekan Raya Sumatera Utara yang Ke – 49 Tahun 2023 yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 16 Juni s/d 17 Juli 2023. Beberaa dipandang perlu melibatkan OPD Pemerintah Kota Medan. (rel).
