INVOCAVIT.COM, MEDAN- Walikota Medan M.Bobby Afif Nasution mengatakan terhitung mulai 1 Desember 2022, warga Kota Medan sudah dapat menggunakan KTP untuk mendapatkan pelayanan kesehatan di semua rumah sakit di Medan yang telah menjalin kerjasama dengan BPJS Kesehatan.
Hal ini dapat dilakukan karena Kota Medan telah mencapai angka kepesertaan BPJS Kesehatan sebesar hampir 96 % dari jumlah penduduk.
“Alhamdulillah, sebagai salah satu program prioritas di bidang kesehatan, hari ini kita telah mencapai tahap untuk mengcover masyarakat mendapatkan pelayanan kesehatan. Mudah-mudahan ini bisa membawa kebaikan bagi masyarakat Kota Medan,” kata Bobby Nasution didampingi pimpinan OPD di lingkungan Pemko Medan saat menerima kunjungan Kepala BPJS Kesehatan Kota Medan Sari Quratul Aini di Balai Kota Medan, Senin (28/11).
Pertemuan tersebut dirangkai dengan penandatanganan kesepakatan antara Pemko Medan dan BPJS Kota Medan tentang Penetapan Peserta Awal Pekerja Bukan Penerima Upah dan Bukan Pekerja Pemerintah Daerah Kota Medan dalam Universal Health Coverage (UHC) Tahun 2022-2023.
Usai capaian ini, sambung Bobby, tugas Pemko Medan selanjutnya melalui perangkat terkait adalah mensosialisasikan hal tersebut kepada masyarakat secara massif. Dengan begitu, masyarakat tidak perlu ragu untuk meminta pelayanan kesehatan.
“Saya minta Pak Asisten Pemerintahan sampaikan ke semua jajaran baik dari tingkat kecamatan, kelurahan hingga ke lingkungan untuk mensosialisasikan hal ini. Dengan begitu tidak ada lagi masyarakat yang ketakutan untuk datang ke fasilitas layanan kesehatan karena masalah ekonomi yang dirasa kurang memadai,” kata Bobby Nasution.
Sedangkan Kepala BPJS Kesehatan Kota Medan Sari Quratul Aini mengungkapkan jika angka kepesertaan BPJS Kesehatan Kota Medan jadi jumlah paling besar di Sumatera Utara. Sari berharap, di tahun depan, Kota Medan juga bisa mencapai target nasional yang telah ditetapkan pemerintah sebesar 98 %.
“Nanti setiap masyarakat yang memiliki nomor induk kependudukan (NIK) apabila ia belum terdaftar atau belum aktif karena menunggak itu bisa dialihkan menjadi pembiayaan peserta bantuan iuran (PBI). Sebab, semua sistem kita di rumah sakit telah terintegrasi. Kami yakin ini juga jadi wujud keseriusan Pemko Medan untuk mewujudkan Kota Medan yang berkah, maju dan kondusif,” bilang Sari. (hpm).
