8 Rumah Termasuk Kost Terbakar di Medan Maimun

MEDAN, INVOCAVIT.COM – Sedikitnya, 8 unit rumah dan tempat kost terbakar di Jalan Juanda, Gang Wisata dan Jalan Brigjen Katamso Gang Bakti, Kelurahan Sukaraja, Kecamatan Medan Maimun, Kota Medan, Senin (6/5/2024).

 

Api berhasil dipadamkan hampir satu jam kemudian setelah sejumlah mobil pemadam kebakaran milik Pemko Medan berjibaku.

 

Tidak ada korban jiwa dalam peristiwa itu sementara kerugian meteri diperkirakan mencapai ratusan juta rupiah.

 

Kepala Lingkungan 7 Kelurahan Sukaraja, Kecamatan Medan Maimun, Rama Donald Batubara menyebutkan, peristiwa kebakaran itu terjadi sekitar pukul 16.00 WIB.

 

“Ada sebanyak delapan rumah termasuk kosan yang terkena dari kebakaran. Untuk wilayah saya ada sekitar enam rumah dan dua rumah kosong. Jadi semua yang terdampak ada delapan rumah,” ucapnya kepada wartawan.

 

Donald menyebut, terdapat sekitar sembilan kepala keluarga yang terdampak dari kebakaran tersebut. Sementara itu untuk penghuni kostan ada sekitar 20 orang.

 

Sementara itu menurut salah seorang warga, kebakaran berhasil dipadamkan tak lama setelah petugas Damkar tiba di lokasi kejadian.

 

“Sudah padam apinya, tadi petugas Damkar di bantu warga juga turut memadamkan api,” ujarnya.

 

Diketahui, hingga saat ini petugas masih berusaha mencari penyebab dari peristiwa kebakaran tersebut.

 

Personil Polsek Medan Kota juga sudah turun kelokasi untuk menyelidiki penyebab terjadinya kebakaran.(jos).
