“Pada hari ini kami menyampaikan Direktur Utama PUD Pembangunan kami berhentikan dari tugasnya dan akan digantikan sementara direktur yang ada di PUD Pembangunan,” kata Wali kota Medan Bobby Nasution saat menggelar doorstop dengan wartawai di Lobi Balai Kota Medan, Selasa (9/5).
Didampingi Asisten Perekonomian dan Pembangunan Setda Kota Medan Agus Suriono, Inspektur Kota Medan Sulaiman Harahap, Kadis Sumber Daya Air Bina Marga dan Bina Kontruksi (SDABMBK) Topan OP Ginting dan Kabag Pengadaan Barang danJasa Alex Sinulingga mengatakan, pemberhentian dilakukan berdasarkan hasil pemeriksaan yang dilakukan inspektorat dan hasil rekomendasi Asisten Ekonomi dan Pembangunan selaku Dewan Pengawas.
“Untuk poin-poinnya mengapa (diberhentikan), bisa ditanyakan kepada Pak Asisten selaku Dewan Pengawas,” ungkapnya.
Asisten Ekonomi dan Pembangunan Setda Kota Medan Agus Suriono saat ditemui usai doorstop menjelaskan, pemberhentian dilakukan berdasarkan hasil evaluasi yang telah dilakukan Inspektorat dan Dewan Pengawas. “Hasilnya jajaran Direksi PUD Pembangunan tidak solid. Itu saja,” jelas Agus Suriono.
Terkait itu, imbuh Agus, jika PUD Pembangunan ingin maju dan investor ada yang ingin masuk namun jajaran direksinya tidak solid tentunya hal itu akan menjadi hambatan. “Oleh karenanya dilakukan evaluasi dan hasilnya memberhentikan direktur utama. Selanjutnya, menunjuk Pelaksana Tugas Dirut Utama dari lingkungan jajaran Direksi PUD Pembangunan,” papar Agus Suriono.
Berdasarkan Perda, tegas Agus Suriono, jajaran direksi itu harus solid dan kolektif. “Artinya, jika tidak solid berarti melanggar Perda. Itu saja, tidak ada yang lain. Sebab, ada rencana investor yang mau masuk. Jika jajaran direksi tidak solid, tentunya bakal akan jadi masalah. Itu saja, tidak ada yang lain,” pungkasnya.
Diketahui Dirut PUD Pembangunan Kota Medan menangani pengembangan usaha di Medan Zoo (Kebun Binatang), kolam renang, pergudangan dan rusunawa.(rel).
