TANJUNGBALAI, INVOCAVIT.COM- Bea Cukai Teluk Nibung melaksanakan pemusnahan Barang yang Menjadi Milik Negara (BMMN) hasil penindakan kepabean dan cukai.
Pemusnahan ini merupakan hasil dari penindakan yang dilakukan oleh KPPBC Tipe Madya Pabean C Teluk Nibung dalam kurun waktu Januari 2024 sampai dengan Desember 2024.
Hal ini dikatakan Kepala Bea dan Cukai Teluk Nibung Tanjungbalai Asahan Nurhasan Ashari dihadapan unsur Muspida yang hadir saat itu.
Dikatakannya, bertempat di TPP Bea Cukai Teluk Nibung, Rabu (2/7/25/) yang meliputi Kabupaten Asahan, Kabupaten Labuhan Batu Utara, Kabupaten Labuhan Batu Selatan, Kabupaten Labuhan Batu dan Kota Tanjungbalai.
Dalam periode tersebut, KPPBC Tipe Madya Pabean C Teluk Nibung telah melakukan penindakan sebanyak 107 kali sesuai dengan Undang-Undang Nomor 39 Tahun 2007. Total nilai pelanggaran yang ditemukan mencapai Rp. 1.109.848.940 dengan potensi kerugian negara sebesar Rp. 438.172.639.
Kepala Kantor Bea Cukai Teluk Nibung Nurhasan Ashari menyampaikan, “Pemusnahan BMMN ini merupakan salah satu upaya Bea Cukai Teluk Nibung untuk mendukung Asta Cita Presiden RI, yaitu menciptakan Indonesia yang maju, mandiri, dan sejahtera.
Dengan melakukan penindakan dan pemusnahan barang ilegal, Bea Cukai Teluk Nibung berharap dapat meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya mematuhi peraturan kepabean dan cukai, serta meningkatkan penerimaan negara.
“Melalui pemusnahan BMMN ini, Bea Cukai Teluk Nibung juga berharap dapat memberikan efek jera bagi pelaku pelanggaran kepabean dan cukai. Dengan demikian, diharapkan dapat mengurangi angka pelanggaran dan meningkatkan kepatuhan masyarakat terhadap peraturan yang berlaku.
Lanjutnya, “Bea Cukai Teluk Nibung akan terus melakukan penindakan dan pemusnahan barang ilegal untuk mendukung Asta Cita Presiden RI dan meningkatkan penerimaan negara. Dengan kerja sama yang baik antara pemerintah dan masyarakat, diharapkan dapat menciptakan Indonesia yang lebih maju dan sejahtera.
“Pemusnahan BMMN ini juga menunjukkan komitmen Bea Cukai Teluk Nibung dalam menjalankan tugas dan fungsinya sebagai pengawas dan pengumpul penerimaan negara. Dengan demikian, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap lembaga Bea Cukai dan meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya mematuhi peraturan yang berlaku. ” ucap Nurhasan.(Anja).
