Mantan Wakapolda Sumut ini menyandang gelar guru besar setelah resmi menerima Surat Keputusan (SK) pengangkatan Guru Besar bidang ” Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia” dari LLDikti wilayah I.
Surat Keputusan itu diserahkan langsung oleh Kepala LLDikti Wilayah 1 Sumatera Utara, Prof. Drs. Saiful Anwar Matondang, MA. PhD di Kantor LLDikti Wilayah I, Jalan Sempurna No. 8,Kota Medan, Senin (27/2/2023).
Kepala LLDikti Sumut, Prof. Drs. Saiful Anwar Matondang, MA. PhD, dalam sambutan dan bimbingan memberikan apresiasi kepada UMSU yang berkomitmen dan berupaya mendorong para dosen meraih gelar kepangkatan guru besar.
UMSU terus menambah jumlah guru besar sebagai komitmen, tentunya tidak lepas dari dukungan dan semangat bersama.
Dia berharap setelah Prof. Dadang, akan menyusul dosen-dosen UMSU untuk mendapatkan prestasi akademik tertinggi itu.
LLDikti Wilayah 1 akan terus mendorong seluruh perguruan tinggi menambah jumlah guru besar, termasuk UMSU kalau bisa menambah 3-4 Guru Besar di tahun ini.
“Terima kasih kepada UMSU yang telah berjuang menambah Guru Besar, kalau bisa setiap bulannya ada pengangkatan Guru Besar,” harapnya.
Penambahan jumlah guru besar ini, disambut dengan sukacita karena dapat menambah bobot UMSU sebagai perguruan tinggi swasta yang terakreditasi Unggul pertama di Pulau Sumatera.
Rektor UMSU Prof. Dr. Agussani, MAP mengatakan bahwa, Prof. Dr.Dadang tercatat sebagai Guru Besar ke-12 di UMSU. Serta satu-satunya dosen khusus ber-NIDK di LLDikti Wilayah 1 yang bergelar Profesor.
Pencapaian Prof. Dadang menjadi Guru Besar, sejalan dengan roadmap UMSU yang terus mengupayakan tenaga pendidik menjadi Profesor.
“Terima kasih kepada Irjen Pol Prof Dadang, ini suatu kebanggan bagi kami. Mudah-mudajan perolehan Guru Besar ini dapat mengharumkan nama institusi Polri dan UMSU,” ujar Prof. Agussani.
Prof. Agusaani juga mendorong seluruh tenaga pendidik di UMSU untuk mengikuti jejak Prof Dadang. Berharap di tahun ini, UMSU bisa memenuhi target memiliki 15 Guru Besar dan 25 Guru Besar padaa tahun 2025.
Sementara itu, Prof. Dadang mantan Kapolrestabes Medan berterima kasih kepada Pimpinan Polri, LLDikti dan UMSU, telah memberikannya kesempatan mengabdi di dunia pendidikan.
