Kepolisian Sektor Kotarih Polres Sergai (Sumut) melaksanakan ‘Jumat peduli’ memberikan imbauan dan edukasi kepada pelajar yang ‘nongkrong’ di jalan utama Kotarih, Jumat (03/05).
Kapolsek Kotarih Iptu Mula Purba, SHi, MH didampingi Wakapolsek Ipda Brimen, SH, MH di Polsek Kotarih, membenarkan kegiatan tersebut sebagai bentuk pelayanan kepada masyarakat guna pastikan kamtibmas kondusif khususnya generasi muda pelajar.
“Kita memberikan imbauan dan edukasi agar anak-anak kita pelajar langsung pulang ke rumah masing-masing dan tidak nongkrong menggunakan pakaian seragam sekolah,” ujarnya.
Kapolsek menjelaskan awalnya Personel melihat adanya kerumunan anak-anak muda yang tidak biasa dengan berseragam sekolah dan yang sudah berpakaian bebas dipinggir jalan kemudian diberikan imbauan dan edukasi untuk antisipasi kenakalan remaja pada jam bubaran anak sekolah.
“Kita memberikan imbauan dan edukasi guna menekan potensi tawuran pelajar dan geng motor, juga mentaati peraturan berlalu lintas saat berkendara di jalan.” tegasnya.
Polsek Kotarih melakukan upaya pembinaan kepada anak-anak sekolah dengan harapan menciptakan generasi muda yang disiplin, berprestasi dan peduli kepada diri, lingkungan serta alam semesta.
Reno selaku warga mengapresasi respon Polsek Kotarih yang peduli situasi dilingkungannya agar anak-anak sekolah bisa langsung pulang ke rumah sehingga orangtua tidak was-was khawatir.
