INVOCAVIT.COM, MEDAN – Satuan Tugas (Satgas) Tindak Pidana Perdagangan Orang (TPPO) Polri menerima 314 laporan polisi terkait TPPO dan kejahatan perlindungan Pekerja Migran Indonesia (PMI). Dari ratusan laporan polisi tersebut, Satgas TPPO Polri menangkap sebanyak 414 tersangka.
Kepala Biro Penerangan Masyarakat Divisi Humas Polri Brigjen Ahmad Ramadhan mengatakan, laporan terkait TPPO sebanyak 237 dan kejahatan perlindungan PMI sebanyak 77.
“Angka tersebut berdasarkan data tanggal 5 hingga 15 Juni 2023,” kata Ramadhan dalam keterangan tertulisnya, Jumat (16/6/2023).
Ramadhan menuturkan, dari ratusan laporan polisi tersebut, tercatat jumlah korban yakni sebanyak 1.314 orang. Para korban terdiri dari perempuan dewasa 507 orang, perempuan anak 76 orang, laki-laki dewasa 707 orang dan laki-laki anak sebanyak 24 orang.
Adapun berdasarkan data pengungkapan kasus, saat ini 64 kasus tahap penyelidikan dan 250 kasus tahap penyidikan.
Lebih lanjut, Ramadhan mengatakan, tiga tempat terjadinya kejadian TPPO terbanyak di perumahan atau pemukiman yakni 129 kasus. Kedua di hotel 33 kasus dan di pelabuhan 16 kasus.
Sementara tempat kejadian perkara kejahatan perlindungan migran terbanyak di perumahan atau pemukiman yakni 41 kasus, jalan umum 10 kasus dan perkantoran 9 kasus.
“Adapun 3 modus tertinggi TPPO yakni membujuk sebanyak 92 kasus, mengangkut/membawa 27 kasus dan merayu 23 kasus,” katanya.
Sementara 3 modus tertinggi kejahatan perlindungan migran yakni membujuk 36 kasus, mengangkut atau membawa 12 kasus dan penipuan 9 kasus.
Terkait motif, untuk kejahatan TPPO terbanyak yakni ekonomi ada 123 kasus. Selanjutnya karena sengaja ada 69 kasus dan permasalahan sosial 21 kasus.
Untuk kejahatan perlindungan migran, tertinggi motifnya karena sengaja sebanyak 32 kasus, ekonomi 30 kasus dan permasalahan sosial 6 kasus.***
