Pebalap Astra Honda Racing Team, Fadillah Arbi Aditama (nomor 93)
INVOCAVIT.COM, MEDAN – Pebalap Astra Honda Racing Team (AHRT), Fadillah Arbi Aditama, berhasil tampil impresif dan menembus grup depan pada dua balapan putaran ketiga ajang balap FIM JuniorGP. Arbi berhasil finis di posisi ke-9 di race kedua yang digelar di Circuito de Jerez – Angel Nieto, Spanyol, Minggu (04/06/2023).
Memulai balapan dari posisi ke-18, Fadillah Arbi Aditama menunjukkan kemajuannya dalam perjuangan menaklukkan sirkuit sepanjang 4.423 m sebanyak 15 lap dan bersaing dengan 28 pebalap manca negara. Pebalap muda Indonesia ini mampu mencatat hasil terbaik sejauh ini pada ajang kejuaraan JuniorGP dengan finis di posisi kesembilan pada race kedua, Minggu (4/6).
Pada race pertama, pebalap lulusan Astra Honda Racing School 2019 asal Purworejo, Jawa Tengah, ini menunjukkan kecepatannya sejak lap-lap pembuka pada balapan pertama. Dengan kondisi cuaca yang cerah di area sirkuit, dia berhasil masuk rombongan terdepan yang berisi 15 pebalap.
Pada persaingan posisi 10 besar, Arbi menyentuh ban belakang pebalap lain, yang membuatnya melebar ketika balapan tersisa dua lap hingga akhirnya finis di posisi ke-17.
Pada balapan kedua, berbekal pelajaran pada race sebelumnya, Arbi berupaya tetap menjaga performa dengan hasil finis yang lebih baik. Melewati beberapa pebalap pada lap-lap awal, pebalap AHRT tersebut berhasil masuk rombongan utama.
Akhirnya, setelah menjalani balapan dengan konsisten dan berhasil mengunci posisi, dia berhasil finis di posisi kesembilan dengan selisih waktu 0.9 detik dari pemenang balapan dan berhasil meraih 7 poin pada balapan kali ini.
Mengumpulkan total 8 poin, saat ini Arbi berada di peringkat ke-20 klasemen sementara JuniorGP.
“Saya senang berhasil bangkit dari tantangan saat sesi kualifikasi. Meskipun tidak melakukan start dengan baik, saya berupaya memacu cepat dan bersaing dengan grup terdepan pada dua balapan. Finis pada posisi kesembilan pada balapan kedua merupakan hasil terbaik saya sejauh ini. Semoga saya dapat terus melanjutkan hasil baik ini,” ujar Arbi.
