LANGKAT, INVOCAVIT.COM: Sejumlah wilayah di Kabupaten Langkat dilanda bencana alam sejak Senin malam hingga Rabu (26/11/2025). Intensitas hujan tinggi yang terjadi secara terus-menerus menyebabkan bangunan rubuh, banjir, hingga pohon tumbang di beberapa kecamatan.
Di Kecamatan Babalan, satu unit bangunan tua peninggalan masa Belanda yang selama ini dijadikan gudang ikan oleh seorang agen bernama Ipin, rubuh pada Rabu pagi. Bagian depan bangunan runtuh sekitar pukul 06.00 WIB, disusul bangunan samping yang rubuh total pada pukul 07.30 WIB.
Tidak ada korban jiwa dalam insiden tersebut. Kerugian material ditaksir mencapai Rp60 juta. Personel Polsek Pangkalan Brandan segera turun ke lokasi, melakukan pengecekan, serta berkoordinasi dengan PT PLN untuk pemadaman listrik karena kabel-kabel di sekitar bangunan turut rubuh.
Polisi juga berkoordinasi dengan Koramil 13 Pangkalan Brandan serta perangkat kelurahan untuk memastikan lokasi aman dan memberikan imbauan kepada masyarakat agar tidak mendekati puing bangunan.
Hujan lebat juga menyebabkan meluapnya Sungai Siur di Kecamatan Pangkalan Susu. Desa Sei Siur menjadi salah satu wilayah terparah, dengan banjir setinggi 60 cm yang mengganggu arus lalu lintas.
Di Dusun I Batu Tangkul, Desa Alur Cempedak, sekitar 10 rumah dievakuasi, sementara sejumlah rumah di Kelurahan Beras Basah dan Kelurahan Bukit Jengkol terendam hingga 1 meter.
Personel dari Polsek Pangkalan Susu, Pos AL, Koramil 15, Pertamina, dan warga turun bersama mengevakuasi warga terdampak. Hingga siang hari, hujan masih turun dan sebagian wilayah mengalami pemadaman listrik.
Di Kecamatan Sei Lepan, empat pohon akasia dan satu tiang listrik tumbang di tiga lokasi berbeda, mengakibatkan kemacetan. Kapolsek Pangkalan Brandan, AKP Amrizal Hasibuan, turun langsung memimpin pembersihan lokasi bersama personel Marinir, PLN, dan masyarakat menggunakan chainsaw.
Tidak ada korban jiwa dalam kejadian ini. Arus lalu lintas masih tersendat karena kondisi hujan deras yang belum mereda.
Di Kecamatan Padang Tualang, banjir juga melanda sejumlah desa. Desa Buluh Telang menjadi wilayah paling terdampak dengan total 266 rumah tergenang, disusul Desa Serapuh ABC dan Desa Kwala Pesilam.
Polsek Padang Tualang mengoordinasikan peninjauan bersama pemerintah desa dan kecamatan, sekaligus memberikan imbauan agar warga tetap siaga dan mengungsi sementara ke lokasi yang lebih aman.
Di Kecamatan Brandan Barat, banjir setinggi 30 cm terjadi di depan pintu Tol Pangkalan Brandan. Walaupun kendaraan masih bisa melintas, Polsek Pangkalan Brandan tetap melakukan pengaturan intensif guna mencegah kemacetan dan kecelakaan.
Kapolda Sumut, Irjen. Pol. Whisnu Hermawan Februanto, S.I.K., M.H. melalui Kabid Humas Polda Sumut, Kombes Pol Ferry Walintukan, menyampaikan bahwa Polda Sumatera Utara telah menginstruksikan seluruh jajaran untuk sigap, responsif, dan mengutamakan keselamatan masyarakat.
“Seluruh personel di jajaran Polres Langkat sudah kami arahkan untuk bergerak cepat membantu masyarakat terdampak, mulai dari evakuasi, pengamanan lokasi berbahaya, hingga pengaturan arus lalu lintas di titik-titik banjir. Prioritas utama kami adalah keselamatan warga,” tegas Kombes Pol Ferry Walintukan.
Ia juga memastikan bahwa koordinasi lintas instansi terus dilakukan. “Kami berkoordinasi dengan TNI, pemerintah daerah, PLN, hingga BPBD untuk memastikan penanganan bencana berjalan maksimal. Kami mengimbau masyarakat tetap waspada karena cuaca ekstrem diperkirakan masih berlangsung,” tambahnya.
Polda Sumut mengingatkan masyarakat untuk menghindari area rawan longsor dan bangunan tua, tidak memaksa melintas di jalan banjir dengan arus kuat dan segera melapor ke pihak berwenang apabila membutuhkan bantuan evakuasi.***
