INVOCAVIT.COM, MEDAN – Kesadaran berlalulintas masih rendah di Sumatera Utara. Terbukti, hari pertama pelaksanaan operasi Patuh Toba 2023 ditemukan pelanggaran 1.194.

 

“Pada hari pertama Ops Patuh Toba 2023 tercatat 1.194 pelanggar lalu lintas di wilayah Sumatera Utara,” kata Kabid Humas Polda Sumut, Kombes Pol Hadi Wahyudi, Selasa (11/7).

 

Hadi menerangkan, Ditlantas Polda Sumut juga memberikan tilang manual kepada tujuh pelanggar lalu lintas yang terjaring secara kasat mata.

 

“Untuk sistem tilang elektronik berupat tilang Etle Stastis dan Mobile serta teguran pada hari pertama Ops Patuh Toba 2023 naik 100 persen,” terangnya.

 

Hadi menyebutkan, penindakan tilang Etle Statis di hari pertama sebanyak 50 pengendara. Sedangkan untuk tilang Etle Mobile melalukan penindakan 10 pelanggar lalu lintas.

 

“Untuk jenis pelanggaran mayoritas pengendara tidak memakai helm dan melanggar marka jalan,” sebutnya.

 

Juru bicara Polda Sumut itu mengungkapkan, angka kecelakaan di hari pertama pelaksanaan Operasi Patuh Toba 2023 tidak ada kejadian.

 

“Kita berharap dengan pelaksanaan Operasi Patuh Toba 2023 ini masyarakat tertib dan mematuhi aturan lalu lintas dan menekan angka kecelakaan,” ungkapnya.

 

Hadi mengimbau, kepada seluruh masyarakat pengguna jalan agar mematuhi aturan berlalu lintas dengan baik dan benar, agar kita terhindar dari kecelakaan yang dapat merugikan diri sendiri dan pengguna jalan lainnya.

 

“Polda Sumut tetap mengedepankan tindakan persuasif dan humanis dalam Operasi Patuh Toba 2023 ini dengan harapan kepatuhan masyarakat dalam berkendara dapat meningkat,” pungkasnya.(jos).
