TANJUNGBALAI,INVOCAVIT.COM-Personel Polsek Teluk Nibung terus berkomitmen menciptakan situasi keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat (Kamtibmas) yang kondusif.
Hal ini dibuktikan dengan pelaksanaan patroli rutin siang hari di sejumlah titik rawan di wilayah hukum Kecamatan Teluk Nibung, Senin (22/12).
Kegiatan yang dimulai pukul 11.30 WIB ini dipimpin oleh Aipda Thomas Zefri bersama Bripka HFG Simatupang dan Bripda Aldo Sitorus. Patroli ini menyasar lokasi-lokasi strategis, di antaranya Jalan Yos Sudarso dan area SPBU Simpang Sipori-pori, Kelurahan Kapias Pulau Buaya.
Kapolsek Teluk Nibung, AKP SRT Siburian, S.H., menyampaikan bahwa patroli ini merupakan langkah preventif (pencegahan) untuk menekan angka kriminalitas.
“Fokus utama kami adalah mencegah terjadinya tindak pidana 3C (Curat, Curas, dan Curanmor), peredaran narkoba, hingga gangguan lalu lintas seperti kemacetan,” ujar AKP SRT Siburian.
Selain memantau keamanan, personel di lapangan juga berinteraksi dengan warga untuk memberikan rasa aman serta memastikan aktivitas masyarakat berjalan lancar.
Dalam pantauan di SPBU Simpang Sipori-pori, petugas memastikan tidak ada antrean kendaraan yang mengganggu ketertiban umum.
Pihak kepolisian mengimbau masyarakat untuk tetap waspada dan segera melapor jika melihat hal-hal yang mencurigakan di lingkungan sekitar.(anja)
