Kes, optimis Pemkab Sergai akan berhasil menurunkan angka stunting hingga 14 persen di 2024.
Namun katanya, semua itu perlu dukungan dan kerjasama para stakeholder dan instansi terkait. Sehingga, keluarga yang beresiko dan anak anak stunting di Sergai tetap terpantau dan bisa kita dengan memberikan makanan sehat dan bergizi.
“Alhamdulillah, di Sergai kendati stunting di angka 20 persen sesuai Survey Status Gizi Indonesia (SSGI) dari Kemenkes RI, tapi kita bergerak cepat untuk penanganan stunting. Sehingga diharapkan nantinya, Kabupaten Sergai bebas stunting,” kata dr. Helminur Iskandar di ruang kerjanya.
Menurut Helmi, anak stunting di Sergai menyebar hampir di semua Kecamatan, namun tidak banyak. Data yang kami peroleh ada 1000 an anak stunting dengan usia 0 sampai 59 bulan atau Balita.
Sedang yang beresiko stunting, seperti ibu hamil, calon pengantin (Catin), ibu baru melahirkan dan lainnya sekitar 50 ribu jiwa. “Tapi, semua itu sudah dalam pengawasan kita. Sebanyak 1417 Tim Pendamping Keluarga (TPK) yang terdiri dari kader KB dan bidan telah bekerja di lapangan untuk memantau keluarga yang beresiko stunting,” ucapnya.
Untuk penanganan keluarga beresiko dan anak stunting, kata Helminur, Pemkab Sergai mengandalkan Dapur Sehat Atasi Stunting (DASHAT) yang berada di Kampung Kampung KB. DASHAT ini merupakan bantuan para stakeholder dan instansi terkait, seperti perusahaan perusahaan, OPD, para pengusaha dan lainnya.
“Bantuan itu kemudian diolah atau dimasak menjadi makanan sehat dan bergizi. Selanjutnya, makanan ini dikumpulkan dan dibagikan langsung kepada anak anak stunting berusia 0 – 59 bulan atau Balita,” ujarnya.
“Sejauh ini apa yang kita lakukan telah dikaji bahkan sudah dikunjungi Kepala BKKBN Sumut, M. Irza. Ternyata, gerakan DASHAT itu mampu menaikkan berat badan anak stunting, diperkirakan 1 bulan naik 1 Kg. Hal ini diketahui setelah ditimbang melalui Posyandu,” kata Kadis.
Helminur juga tidak menampik Pemkab Sergai telah membuat gerakan terpadu untuk penanganan stunting kedepannya. Yakni berkolaborasi dengan Dinas Kesehatan (Dinkes) dan Kantor Urusan Agama (KUA). Sehingga Catin yang akan menikah terlebih dahulu mendapat penyuluhan dari Dinas P2KB P3A, baru kemudian ke Dinkes.
“Kalau sudah dapat surat sehat dari Dinkes datang ke KUA. Karena jika tidak ada surat sehat, KUA tak mau menikahkan. Dan ini sudah menjadi Perda di Sergai. Sementara, jika Catin terindikasi narkoba kita limpahkan ke BNN untuk diobati,” jelasnya.
Helminur mengaku, pihaknya gerak cepat melakukan penanggulangan stunting, karena mendapat dukungan dari Bupati, Wakil Bupati dan Ketua TP PKK. Bahkan, sangat membantu, dibuktikan dengan adanya upaya Bupati akan memasukkan ke APBD Sergai. (Rh)
