Komisi III DPR RI dipimpin Wakil Ketua Ahmad Sahroni melakukan kunjungan kerja (Kunker) ke Polda Sumut, Kamis (27/3).
Para Wakil rakyat tersebut melakukan pertemuan dengan Kapolda Sumut Irjen Whisnu Hermawan Februanto bersama para PJU dan Kapolres serta Kajatisu Idianto SH.MH beserta jajaran.
Usai melakukan pertemuan, Wakil Ketua Komisi III DPR RI, Ahmad Sahroni kepada wartawan mengatakan, Kunker ke Polda Sumut dan Kejatisu untuk membahas berbagai hal yang berkaitan dengan pelayanan dan penerapan hukum agar supaya bermanfaat bagi masyarakat.
Ahmad Sahroni bilang, berdasarkan pengakuan Kapolda Sumut Irjen Whisnu Hermawan Februanto dan berdasarkan data yang didapat bahwa situasi keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat (Kamtibmas) saat ini berjalan kondusif.
“Tingkat kriminalitas di Sumut sudah sangat menurun,” sebut Sahroni didampingi Kapolda Sumut, Irjen Pol Whisnu Hermawan Februanto saat kunjungan kerja (kunker) ke Mapolda Sumut, Kamis (27/3/2025).
Didampingi anggota Komisi III DPR RI, Hinca Panjaitan, Sahroni meminta kepolisian untuk terus menjaga situasi kondusif karena keamanan dan kenyamanan masyarakat sangat penting.
Sahroni berharap Kapolda Sumut tetap bersikap humanis kepada masyarakat karena penting, dan jadikan sebagai saudara sendiri.
“Jadikan masyarakat layaknya saudara sendiri,” ujar politisi Nasdem tersebut.
Menurut dia, dalam kesempatan Kunker tersebut, Kapolda Sumut sudah memerintahkan seluruh Kapolres jajarannya untuk selalu mengawasi pelaksanaan lebaran.
“Dikontrol langsung oleh Pak Kapolda, pun pelayanan masyarakat untuk selalu dijaga dengan baik,” ungkapnya.
Dia tidak menginginkan di Sumut ada slogan, “No Viral, No Justice di Sumut. Kepolisian harus ‘jemput bola’ terhadap masyarakat.
“Jangan ada masyarakat miskin melapor tidak dilayani,” pintanya.
Dia menilai, Kejati Sumut berperan dalam dalam mewujudkan kriminalitas menurun.
“Kajati juga tadi mengatakan kriminalitas cukup signifikan. Inilah bentuk 2 institusi (Polda Sumut dan Kejati Sumut) bekerjasama dengan baik,” tuturnya.
“Kita harap Sumut yang katanya luar biasa, tingkat kriminalitasnya tertinggi, tapi sekarang Alhamdulillah. Inilah humanisme dari seorang pemimpin,” pungkasnya.(jos)
