TANJUNGBALAI,INVOCAVIT. COM-Kasus dugaan penganiayaan yang menimpa Rahmadi, seorang warga Tanjungbalai, kembali mencuat setelah keluarganya mendesak agar aparat kepolisian serius mengusut tuntas peristiwa tersebut.
Rahmadi diduga menjadi korban kekerasan saat ditangkap oleh seorang oknum polisi, Kompol Dedi Kurniawan, yang menjabat sebagai Kanit I Ditresnarkoba Polda Sumut. Dalam rekaman CCTV yang beredar, penangkapan Rahmadi di salah satu toko pakaian di Tanjungbalai terlihat disertai dengan tindakan kekerasan, termasuk pemukulan di bagian kepala menggunakan pistol, tendangan, serta injakan.
Tidak hanya itu, Rahmadi juga mengaku sempat dilakban pada bagian matanya dan dituduhkan memiliki narkoba, sebuah tuduhan yang kini masih dalam proses hukum.
Meski keluarga sudah melaporkan kasus ini ke Polda Sumut, hingga kini laporan tersebut dinilai belum ditindaklanjuti secara maksimal. “Kami merasa laporan ini tidak direspons serius. Padahal bukti rekaman CCTV sudah jelas menunjukkan adanya tindakan penganiayaan,” ungkap Elida Harnum, kakak kandung Rahmadi, kepada awak media, Jumat (26/9/2025).
Elida menambahkan, pihak keluarga telah membuat surat terbuka yang ditujukan kepada dua tokoh penting dalam reformasi kepolisian, yakni Penasehat Transformasi Reformasi Polri, Komjen Pol Dedi Prasetyo yang saat ini menjabat sebagai Wakapolri, serta Jenderal Polisi (Purn) Ahmad Dofiri, mantan Wakapolri yang kini dipercaya Presiden Prabowo Subianto sebagai Penasihat Khusus di bidang Keamanan, Ketertiban Masyarakat, dan Reformasi Kepolisian.
“Kami berharap Bapak Komjen Dedi Prasetyo dan Jenderal (Purn) Ahmad Dofiri benar-benar mendengar jeritan masyarakat kecil yang tertindas. Kami mohon agar kasus penganiayaan terhadap adik saya, Rahmadi, diusut tuntas demi tegaknya keadilan,” tegas Elida.
Keluarga Rahmadi menilai kasus ini bukan hanya persoalan pribadi, tetapi menyangkut marwah institusi kepolisian yang seharusnya melindungi masyarakat, bukan justru melakukan tindakan represif. Mereka mendesak agar Propam Polri, Kompolnas, hingga lembaga pengawas eksternal lainnya segera turun tangan menindaklanjuti laporan tersebut.
Sementara itu, Penasehat hukum Rahmadi, Ronald Siahaan, Mendesak aparat kepolisian agar serius menindaklanjuti laporan keluarga korban terkait dugaan penganiayaan yang dilakukan oleh Kompol Dedi Kurniawan, Kanit I Ditresnarkoba Polda Sumut adalah Suatu tindakan yang kejam, tidak manusiawi, dan merendahkan martabat manusia;
Ronald menegaskan, keluarga Rahmadi melalui kakaknya, Elida Harnum, telah melayangkan surat terbuka kepada dua tokoh reformasi kepolisian, yakni Komjen Pol Dedi Prasetyo yang kini menjabat sebagai Wakapolri sekaligus Penasehat Transformasi Reformasi Polri, serta Jenderal Polisi (Purn) Ahmad Dofiri, mantan Wakapolri yang saat ini dipercaya Presiden Prabowo Subianto sebagai Penasihat Khusus bidang Keamanan dan Reformasi Kepolisian.
Menurut Ronald, surat terbuka itu merupakan bentuk keprihatinan dan keputusasaan keluarga Rahmadi karena laporan yang sudah disampaikan ke Polda Sumut belum ditindaklanjuti maksimal.
“Keluarga korban berharap dua jenderal ini bisa mendengar langsung jeritan masyarakat kecil yang mencari keadilan. Jangan sampai laporan hanya berhenti di meja tanpa tindakan nyata,” ujarnya, Jumat (26/9).
Dalam kasus ini, Rahmadi ditangkap secara represif di salah satu toko pakaian di Tanjungbalai. Rekaman CCTV yang beredar menunjukkan adanya tindak kekerasan, termasuk pemukulan dengan senjata api, tendangan, hingga injakan.
