INVOCAVIT.COM, MEDAN – Provinsi Sumatera Utara (Sumut) menjadi tuan rumah Hari Doa Nasional yang akan digelar 4-5 Juli, dipusatkan di GBI Rumah Persembahan Jalan Jamin Ginting, Kecamatan Medan Selayang.
Even ini diketuai Ny Devi Luhut Binsar Panjaitan br Simatupang.
Untuk menyemarakkan Hari Doa Nasional, Ny Devi Luhut Binsar Panjaitan berbagi kasih kepada kaum disabilitas melalui Persatuan Tuna Netra Indonesia, wartawan (Persatuan Wartawan Indonesia) diwakili Sekretaris SR Hamonangan Panggabean, Pondok Pesantren Al-Kautsar pimpinan Tuan Syeckh Ali Akbar Marbun diwakili Agung, Pondok Pesantren Jabal Nur, masyarakat Kecamatan Medan Tuntungan, tenaga kesehatan Kecamatan Medan Tuntungan dan tenaga kebersihan Kecamatan Medan Tuntungan.
Dr RE Nainggolan, mewakili Ny Devi Luhut Binsar Panjaitan menyerahkan bingkisan kasih tersebut kepada masing-masing perwakilan komunitas dan organisasi yang menerimanya.
Penyerahan bantuan berupa beras, dan telur, turut hadir Plt Camat Medan Tuntungan Hendra Sitanggang SSTP, Pdt Dr R Bambang Jonan, Pdt Jansen Lase, Jadi Pane, Drg Annita dan lainnya.
Dr RE Nainggolan mengatakan, panitia Hari Doa Nasional berasal dari seluruh unsur aras nasional, baik dari Kristen Protestan maupun Katolik yang telah bersepakat melaksanakan Hari Doa Nasional yang berharap dan betujuan agar bangsa dan negara ini aman dan tenteram.
“Hari doa nasional juga dalam upaya agar segenap pemerintahan kita senantiasa bisa bekerja keras dan memberi perhatian peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat dan bangsa Indonesia. Dengan tidak ada kecuali, apakah itu masyarakat di perkotaan, pedesaan atau di pegunungan. Segenap masyarakat senantiasa dapat membangun kebersamaan kedamaian dan kebhinekaan yang semakin indah untuk masa-masa mendatang,” kata RE Nainggolan.
Panitia Hari Doa Nasional kata RE Nainggolan sangat berpengharapan agar segenap kegiatan puasa yang dijalankan umat muslim bisa berjalan dengan baik. Dalam kaitan itulah panitia menyampaikan bantuan dengan harapan bisa menerimanya dengan suka cita.
“Sehingga kerjasama, kebersamaan dan persahabatan kita senantiasa semakin erat di masa akan datang, kami mohon dukungan semua pihak agar Hari Doa Nasional nanti bisa berlangsung dengan baik.
