Jakarta, INVOCAVIT. COM – Menteri Pendayagunaan Aparatur Negara dan Reformasi Birokrasi (MenPAN RB) menerbitkan Peraturan Nomor 21 Tahun 2024 Tanggal 10 Desember 2024, tentang perubahan sebutan atau beberapa jabatan fungsional dalam dunia pendidikan.
Salah satu poin penting dari peraturan ini adalah perubahan beberapa jabatan fungsional, termasuk penghapusan istilah “Kepala Sekolah” yang diganti dengan “Kepala Satuan Pendidikan”.

Kepala Sekolah Sebagai Tugas Tambahan
Sebagai tugas tambahan, posisi Kepala Sekolah tidak termasuk dalam jabatan fungsional maupun struktural.
Hal ini ditegaskan dalam Peraturan Direktur Jenderal Guru dan Tenaga Kependidikan Nomor 5958/B/HK.03.01/2022. Kepala Sekolah adalah guru yang diberi amanah tambahan untuk memimpin satuan pendidikan.
Syarat Menjadi Kepala Satuan Pendidikan
Pemerintah menetapkan beberapa kriteria bagi guru yang ingin menjabat sebagai Kepala Satuan Pendidikan. Berikut adalah syarat-syaratnya:
Kualifikasi akademik minimal S1 atau D4.
Sertifikat pendidik yang diakui. Sertifikat pelatihan Calon Kepala Sekolah (CKS) atau sertifikat Guru Penggerak (GP).
Guru berstatus PNS dengan pangkat minimal Penata Muda Tingkat I (Golongan Ruang III/b).
Jenjang jabatan minimal Guru Ahli Pertama.
Berusia di bawah 56 tahun.
Yang menarik, Menteri Pendidikan Dasar dan Menengah, Abdul Mu’ti menegaskan bahwa jabatan ini terbuka untuk semua guru, baik yang berasal dari program Guru Penggerak maupun tidak.
