MEDAN, INVOCAVIT.COM – Forum lalulintas dan Angkutan Jalan Provinsi Sumatera Utara merekomendasikan 10 kota dan kabupaten untuk terus melanjutkan penataan dan penertiban Lalulintas dan angkutan Jalan dalam rangka
Menyambut Pekan Olahraga Nasional (PON) XXI/2024.
Ke sepuluh kota dan Kabupaten itu merupakan tuan rumah PON XXI yaitu Kota medan, Kabupaten Deliserdang, Sergei, Pematang siantar, Simalungun, Langkat, Toba, Tanah karo Samosir dan Kota Binjai.
Dirlantas Polda Sumut Kombes Pol Muji Ediyanto, S.H.,S.I.K.,M.A.P. memimpin rapat koordinasi bersama 10 Forum Lalulintas kota lainnya yang menjadi tuan rumah PON XXI, mendorong penataan diberbagai ruas Jalan serta penertiban perilaku dalam berlalu lintas.
“Kita memiliki Forum Lalu lintas dan Angkutan Jalan (LLAJ), Penataan dan penertiban lalu lintas dan angkutan Jalan yang sedang dilakukan saat ini, adalah atas rekomendasi Forum LLAJ Provinsi dan Kabupaten/Kota,” tegas Kombes Muji Ediyanto kepada sejumlah wartawan, usai Rakor Forum LLAJ Provinsi dan Kabupaten/Kota dalam Rangka Anev Penataan dan Penertiban LLAJ untuk Mendukung PON XXI Tahun 2024 di Aula Raja Inal Siregar, Kantor Gubernur Sumut, Selasa (30/7).
Muji juga ingin memastikan nantinya di saat PON, tidak ada yang mengendarai kendaraan bermotor secara ugal-ugalan, tidak menggunakan helm, melawan arus dan melanggar lalulintas lainnya. Polisi mengantisipasi jangan sampai mengganggu tamu dan para atlet serta official yang datang dan bertanding di Sumatera Utara.
“Penataan dan penertiban lalu lintas dan angkutan jalan agar tidak terjadi kecelakaan, kemacetan lalu lintas, serta sarana dan prasarana dapat dimanfaatkan dengan baik untuk mendukung pelaksanaan PON mendatang” imbuhnya.
Terkait personel yang akan diturunkan, Muji menjelaskan, akan disiapkan rute keberangkatan, ketika atlet berangkat dari penginapan menuju venue atau tempat bertanding. Ia juga akan menyiapkan Pengamanan rute dan pengawalan.
“Semua atlet yang bertanding akan dilakukan pengawalan, jangan sampai ada yang terlambat dan terkena macet. Ini nanti akan dilakukan pengaturan, rekayasa lalu lintas dan Pam rute. Semuanya nanti akan dikoordinasikan dengan bidang-bidang transportasi, bidang pertandingan dan akomodasi, sebab para atlet 1 menit sajapun tidak boleh terlambat,” jelasnya.
Ia mengaku, untuk saat ini semuanya sedang dalam proses dan sedang dilakukan evaluasi. “Kita sudah siapkan rute yang tercepat, termudah dan teraman. Nanti akan dilakukan rekayasa lalu lintas, mana-mana saja titik-titik yang mengalami kemacetan tertinggi. Begitu juga saat kembalinya dari bertanding. Kita tata dan tertibkan semuanya, agar masyarakat juga merasakan manfaatnya,” ungkapnya.
Terkait pengendalian perilaku pengguna jalan raya, menurut Muji, masih menjadi pekerjaan rumah (PR) tersendiri, baik angkutan umum, kendaraan pribadi dan pengendara sepeda motor. Semua akan dilakukan langkah-langkah progresif, penegakan hukum menjadi langkah terakhir.
“Tertib lalulintas itu harus dijadikan budaya, harus mengakar karena itu cerminan masyarakat,” tuturnya.
Untuk penambahan personel lalulintas dalam pengamanan sambungnya, akan ada keterlibatan dari Ditlantas Polda Sumut, gabungan Satlantas Jajaran serta dari Korlantas, baik untuk mobil, motor besar, trail serta petugas yang mengawaki “Nanti pada waktunya akan kita turunkan semua. Polisi akan tetap melakukan Kegiatan Rutin Yang Ditingkatkan (KRYD),” pungkasnya.***
