MEDAN, INVOCAVIT.COM – Markas kawanan begal di Jalan Pemagaran KIM III, Kec Medan Deli digerebek tim Jahtanras Polres Pelabuhan Belawan.
Dari serangkaian penggerebekan itu, polisi mengamankan 9 pria rata-rata berusia 18 tahun. Mereka diamankan dari sejumlah lokasi dalam waktu hampir bersamaan, Kamis (11/01) dinihari.
Para tersangka berinisial, R (18), JAP (18), AP (18), DGR (18), SF (19), RP (18), ES (20), MTD (20) dan AR (18).
Kapolda Sumut Irjen Agung Setya Imam Effendi melalui Kabid ahumas Kombes Hadi Wahyudi mengatakan, kawanan begal itu merupakan pelaku pencurian dan kekerasan (curas) disejumlah.
“Dari hasil penggerebekan yang dilakukan itu petugas berhasil mengamankan sebanyak 9 orang pelaku saat berada di dalam rumah kosong yang dijadikan markas,” ujar Kombes Hadi Wahyudi,Jumat (12/01/24).
Juru bicara Poldasu itu mengatakan, pihaknya melakukan penangkapan berdasarkan sejumlah Laporan Polisi (LP).
“Ada 4 Laporan Polisi yang kita tangani dan mereka adalah pelakunya yang sudah lama dicari,” ucap Hadi Wahyudi.
Dari hasil test urine, sambung Hadi, para tersangka positif mengkonsumsi narkoba.
“Tersangka MTD dan AR merupakan pelaku pemilik ganja,” jelas Hadi.
Dipaparkannya, pada Kamis (11/1/2024) sekira pukul 04.30 WIB, berawal Laporan Call Center 110 terjadinya tawuran, Tim Jatanras bergerak ke TKP dan melihat kedatangan polisi, para pelaku melarikan diri.
Kemudian patroli Polisi bersama Securty di Pos KIM I berselisih dengan 4 unit sepeda motor berboncengan membawa sajam.
“Tim Jatanras dan Patroli mengejar kawanan pemuda bersepeda motor tersebut dan berhasil mengamankan 2 orang,” papar Hadi.
Dari keterangan kedua pelaku tersebut, Kombes Hadi menyebutkan, tim melakukan penggerebekan di salah satu gudang kosong yang dijadikan base camp di Jalan Pemagaran KIM III dan berhasil diamankan sebanyak 5 orang,1 pelaku diamankan di rumah dan 1 pelaku di tempat kerja.
“Penyidik masih mengembangkan kasus itu,” pungkas Hadi (jos).
