Medan, INVOCAVIT.COM: Tim Unit Reskrim Polsek Medan Timur meringkus pelaku pencurian kendaraan bermotor (curanmor) di Jalan Mustafa, Kelurahan Glugur Darat I, Kecamatan Medan Timur.
Kanit Reskrim Polsek Medan Timur, Iptu Fajri Lubis, mengatakan awalnya personel menerima laporan telah terjadinya aksi pencurian sepeda motor milik korban seorang mahasiswa berinisial MAK (23) warga Kecamatan Medan Tuntungan.
“Setelah menerima laporan itu personel melakukan penyelidikan dengan memeriksa sejumlah saksi. Hasilnya seorang pelaku bernama Deni Zefrian Sarumaha (45) warga Kecamatan Medan Labuhan dapat diamankan,” katanya, Minggu (23/11).
Fajri mengungkapkan, berdasarkan pemeriksaan pelaku mengakui telah mencuri sepeda motor yang terparkir di pelataran parkir tempat kerja (kantor) korban.
“Pelaku kepada penyidik mengakui telah tiga kali melakukan aksi kejahatan diantaranya membobol warung, membongkar rumah warga serta mencuri sepeda motor,” ungkapnya terhadap pelaku bersama barang bukti sepeda motor sudah ditahan di Mapolsek Medan Timur.
“Atas perbuatannya pelaku curanmor ini terancam hukuman lima tahun kurungan penjara. Pada kesempatan itu diimbau kepada masyarakat untuk selalu berhati-hati saat memarkirkan kendaraannya agar tidak hilang dicuri,” pungkasnya.***
